The garments are created with great care from carefully selected materials and are available in a limited edition. These items will not be priced within Gudrun Sjödén’s regular range. This is a unique opportunity for those who appreciate genuine craftsmanship and want to wear something very special and donate to a good cause. Please note this auction is only available within the continental US only.

Instagram Auction
The auction will start on Thursday, December 12th at 6:00 PM EST on our New York Instagram account and end on Saturday December 14th at 3:00 PM EST. Winners will be contacted on Saturday, December 14th after 6:00 PM EST. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Gudrun Sjödén Foundation, a foundation that supports and promotes design and craftsmanship worldwide. The winner of each item will be chosen based on the highest bid, and the items will ship free within the US.
Something really special
All garments are some kind of design-experiment. It is of course colorful and made of exclusive materials. Always lavish and quirky. Since these are not garments to be produced in large numbers, we have been able to really go all out and create something special. To preserve the quality and the beautiful materials, the garments should be hand washed and handled with care.

The white dress is inspired by handwoven khadi. It was Mahatma Gandhi who created the concept sometime in the 20th century in connection with the protest marches he carried out in India.
