Join us as we float above the desert in Rajasthan in a hot-air balloon early one morning as the sun rises over the horizon. We’ve brought along a collection adorned with delicate spirals created in softly flowing watercolours. Each colourway was painted separately – which is easiest when you want a variation of colours from soft apricot to blissful blue and sky grey. The design was then digitally printed at one of our Indian suppliers. Digital printing technologies have allowed us to develop our pattern designs in interesting and exciting ways.

Gudrun’s watercolour spirals
Just as clouds have names, this printed pattern was given a name too. Cirrus is the perfect name for the gently curving spirals that Gudrun painted on a large watercolour paper.

– so ethereal and beautifully transparent. Printed on fine organdie, which we’ve crafted in super-soft cotton.

Fluffy summer clouds and light brushstrokes
Semi-sheer with delicate gold threads and flowing watercolour-look print. When the sun is high in the sky, we float as if on a cloud in light and airy materials and a palette of soft pastels. For this range, we went with delectable dobby and choice ORGANDIE, which was digitally printed to preserve the flowing watercolour look. Pair with stylish knit stripes in a must-have cardigan. Some of the beautiful colour names are Lavender, Forget-me-not and Light Sand.
