ANIMALS are constantly present in India's cityscape. It's wedding season when we're there, and according to tradition, the groom should arrive on a white horse, so we see many horses with plumes in the crowd. Also, elephants, goats, dogs, monkeys, and peacocks. But most prominently, COWS and bulls, which are considered sacred. They all have an owner who brings them home for the night, and there's food scattered here and there.
This cow – or perhaps it's a bull – reminded me a bit of my cat. It rubbed its muzzle against the wall, crept around the corner, and sniffed its way to a bag of rice...
And this is what can happen when you're in a car trying to take a picture of two camels when the camera can't quite keep up. At least I managed to capture both!
