In my bag – part 1

Are you, like me, wondering what you're actually lugging around? I mean, what is it in the bag that you carry from Monday to Friday? Why does it feel so heavy, especially towards the end of the week?

I turned my bag upside down on Saturday morning. Besides my laptop and charger, I apparently have all of this in my bag, and that doesn't even include the lunchbox! No wonder it feels heavy; good thing I bike.

Notebooks and other work-related items, headphones, nice papers I've come across during the week, a book that I thought I would read in the hospital waiting room. Refreshments like a water bottle, apple, and an egg.

IB_03.jpgEgg carrier, a fantastic thing!

Some tools, always good to have (?), like pliers, cable ties, and a tape measure. Plus some electrical stuff for a lamp I'm trying to fix. And the lonely mitten that has made itself at home in the bag. It has probably been here since last year when I lost its companion. Time to knit a new friend, perhaps?

In addition to the large bag, I almost always have a smaller one. Yes, a handbag.

Here, I mainly have my mobile, keys, mascara, wallet, glasses, throat lozenges, pens, etc.

I also have some crystals (!) I can't claim to believe in crystals and such. But I got them from a friend who thought I needed a little extra strength when everything felt dull and heavy. Since then, they've been in my bag, and I haven't had the heart to get rid of them.

IB_08.jpgMy crystals. I've forgotten what they are and what they represent, but it's supposed to be a good combination.

Almost always, I have a Gudrun bag in my purse. Handy if you stop for groceries on the way home from work.

Ah, I forgot one thing that often lies in my bag, without me knowing it. My remote control (?) Sometimes I have morning TV while doing my things before heading out in the morning. Suddenly everything goes so fast, and you have to hurry!!! If a day goes by, and I want to watch TV, I can't find the remote (always forget to check the bag; it might also be in the jacket pocket). It ends up with me only being able to watch one channel. Then in the morning or often after a weekend, I find the remote when I'm rearranging the bag for a new week ❤️
