As we were imagining ourselves journeying along the famous Silk Road, the idea for our “INEZ” design started to take shape. Asian pottery provided the starting point for the coatigan which was painted in watercolour shades of porcelain blue. Like shards of pottery with different patterns that fit together and form a surface. By contrast, whole, unbroken borders were used to compile the design for the dress with the same name.
