Walking over the ice is a special feeling

Suddenly, you find the horizon to be ‘round’ – just like when flying in a hot air balloon. Today, the ice is very thick and stable. There's been a bit of snow. Katarina and I walk together, enjoying a pleasant chat. We follow the small spruce tree track along 'our' path that we always follow. We don't want to risk venturing into unknown areas where the ice may be weaker.
