We love the inspiration of Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf (1858-1940). Gudrun’s co-designer Pia spotted geraniums in the windows of Mårbacka manor, Lagerlöf’s birthplace. She also saw the triangular shawl once worn by the author. She saw the different colour accents of green, grey and pink. All exquisitely captured in our classic velour.

Lagerlöf landscape colours in green interiors
At Mårbacka manor, among the namesake geraniums, we find Selma Lagerlöf. Writer, feminist and the first-ever woman Nobel Prize winner. We’re wearing velour, jersey and knits adorned with geranium motifs. Sink back into the sofa with striped socks keeping your feet cosy and a shawl draped over your shoulders. Shades of green are in focus, but with shades of reddish-purple and earthy grey-black accents. Match with the beautiful dobby-weave texture shirt dress.
