CAPE TOWN – the colours of freedom and shades of the Savannah

For this colourful collection, we drew inspiration from South Africa’s famed “Bo Kaap” architecture. The colours symbolise freedom in a community as rich in history as it is brightly coloured, where a painted staircase served as the model for the design on a knit dress! South Africa’s floral abundance likewise provided inspiration for styles in full bloom. Both in prints and a jacquard knit cardigan as well as placed hand embroidery on a jersey top. Alongside the vivid colours like dark peony, aqua green and leaf green, we also have streaks of Savannah shades in ochre and olive green on a woven linen blend.
