In Norse mythology, ASK and EMBLA were the first two humans on Earth. This myth explains parts of our language and culture here in the Nordic region. So using sketches and flowing watercolors, Gudrun took this unique couple on a JOURNEY to India, where she designed the series on site. It pairs Nordic-inspired woven and knit materials with the warmth and expertise of India. The watercolors were translated into digital prints, and gorgeous embroidery turned it all into a lovely whole.
