ÅLAND – embracing history and folk art

The painting “Peasant Bride” at the Åland Museum depicts a bride dressed in black and sparked the idea for this series, which features an EMBROIDERED dress as its signature piece. You’ll also discover jersey patterned with a print inspired by late summer’s tangled flower beds.
