When the mornings are cool, the afternoons warm, and the evenings chilly, it’s all about layering. Start with a spring dress, maybe a jersey dress that feels delightfully soft against the skin. Jersey dresses come in tons of styles: long and short, solid-colored and patterned, V-neck, round neck, or with a little band collar. You can also try a comfy linen dress with gorgeous embroidery, or a laid-back and relaxed checked flannel dress. And don’t forget the shirt dress – it’s a perfect spring dress.

Then add a warm cardigan that’s easy to remove when the sun comes out, just in time for a coffee break. Under your dress, try a petticoat slip with eyelet lace, a pair of floral-printed leggings, jacquard-knit socks in soft wool terry – or everything at once. We’re talking layers, after all!
