This series is Gudrun’s tribute to India – a country that offers inspiration through its craftsmanship and layered outfits. Bagru, India is home to incredibly skilled block printers. They make patterns using both resist printing and block printing, created by carving into the wood. Vegetable dyes produce gorgeous colors using pigments made from natural materials like flowers, minerals and real indigo. Craftsmanship like this is simply delightful!
